Anyone Planning A Beach Getaway Before School Starts?

We love living near the coast and the beautiful beach! This time of year everyone is planning that last getaway with the kids before school starts and getting back into that routine for the school year. Isn't this picture of the ocean , the white caps on the water and the seagulls lovely? We've had a lot of seagulls flying over our back yard recently as we have waterways surrounding our home. I enjoy watching them and their activities. Be sure and plan a end of Summer getaway no matter where you may go!

Sharing a photo of  two ducks taken at our local park. Aren't they beautiful? Many residents within our community love going to the park to feed them. You can always tell if they have been fed recently by whether they come rushing toward you. Usually we feed them stale bread and sometimes you see the turtles coming up to the surface of the water and grabbing the bread before the ducks can get to it. This is a fun activity to do with children or grandchildren. Think it brings out the inner child in us as well. Is this something you enjoy too?
