Bubble Plant...hmmm is this real?

This photo by Fact or Fiction  sure will get your mind going. Still trying to figure out what I
think but, love the playfulness of this. Like how the photographer captured the surroundings
in the bubble itself. Looks like perhaps an old barn and some trees nearby. Would love to
hear what you think.

Photography: Red Spring Tulips

Love the beautiful tulips that show up every Spring and especially the red color. They are so vibrant! I have had several colors of this flower in my yard in the past but, thinking the moles have made a feast out of them or they have lived out their time. Think they are bi-ennials. LOL...not sure if I spelled that right. Anyways, I meant only for two years. So for now I enjoy them around town and in the country as we are out and about. Is this one of your favs too?

Photography:Lovely Bluebird

Picture below is of a lovely bluebird, think is a female. Usually the females are less colorful than the males so this is my guess. We have bluebirds in our yard and are starting to see them already for this season. I can sit in our sun room and watch them go about their activities back and forth to the bluebird house. Such a wonderful feeling to have them and their young around. One of my favorite birds. Do you like watching the bluebirds?Bluebird 1

Photo: Ducks At The Park

Sharing a photo of  two ducks taken at our local park. Aren't they beautiful? Many residents within our community love going to the park to feed them. You can always tell if they have been fed recently by whether they come rushing toward you. Usually we feed them stale bread and sometimes you see the turtles coming up to the surface of the water and grabbing the bread before the ducks can get to it. This is a fun activity to do with children or grandchildren. Think it brings out the inner child in us as well. Is this something you enjoy too?

Video: Reflections of Light

Hope you enjoy this very short video. Beautiful pictures from our local scenic waterways plus a few others. We love the wonderful benefits of the Carolina Coast.

Spring Has Sprung!

Spring has finally Spring and I am so glad! Although, I am very thankful for a very mild Winter here on the Carolina Coast. With the weather giving us a break I am starting to focus on the yard and various tasks I want to complete outside. We will have more cool days but, not as harsh as the last couple of months. The photo above is from our yard. We have many varieties of Daffodils that have been here long before we came. This particular one is called Butter and Eggs because of the colors and is one of my favorites. Do you have this variety of Daffodils?
